The UFC has been a shining spot for Polish fighters. But, how are these fighters doing? This article will focus on Marcin Prachnio and Jan Blachowicz as well as Michal Materla and Michal Oleksiejczuk.

Marcin Prachnio

Marcin Prachnio, an mixed martial artist, is competing in the Light Heavyweight section of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He's been a professional MMA fighter since 2013 and has also competed in the ONE Championship.

Prachnio was a UFC fighter when he made his debut in 2018. He has fought twice thus far. He has earned $38,500 in his UFC career. His first bout against Sam Alvey was at UFC on FOX28. Jan Blachowicz

Jan Blachowicz, also known as Jan Maciej, is a Polish mixed martial artist. He currently competes for the Ultimate Fighting Championship's Light Heavyweight category. He has been in the UFC since 2007 and previously competed as a KSW Pro fighter. He was a KSW Lightweight champion as well as a former UFC Lightweight champ.

Blachowicz was defeated in his first UFC bout. He lost four of the five following. He found his groove two years later. From October 2017 to March 2021, he won nine of the ten next matches. His most recent win was over former middleweight champion Israel Adesanya. His current record is 28 wins and 8 losses.

Michal Materla

KSW 6 gave MMA fans a sneak peak at Michal Materla in March. Polish mixed martial artist Michal Materla won an 8-man tournament and is now one of the most prominent stars in Polish MMA. He's won four of his last five fights. His overall record is 15-3. His victories over Matt Horwich (Tomasz Drwal) and Rodasz Wallace are his most notable. His most recent loss was against UFC vet Antonio Mendes at KSW 7.


Damian Grabowski, another prominent Polish MMA fighter, is also a well-known one. He holds a 22-6-1 pro record and is currently a heavyweight competitor. He is 41 years old and his last fight was in 2011.

Michal Oleksiejczuk

Micha Oleksiejczuk (Polish mixed martial artist, middleweight fighter) is Micha Oleksiejczuk. He has been competing professionally as a fighter since 2014. He was the former Light Heavyweight Champion of the Polish Thunderstrike Fight League.

Oleksiejczuk (27 years old) is from Barki in Poland. His pro record is 16-5-0, with 11 wins coming via knockout and one by submission. All four of his victories came via decision. Oleksiejczuk was Octagon's first member on December 30, 2017. He trains at Akademia Sportow Walki Wilanow.

Marcin Tybura

Marcin Tybura (Polish mixed martial artist) fights in the Heavyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He has been a professional fighter since 2011. Tybura was previously a M-1 competitor, becoming the M-1 Global Heavyweight Champion.

Tybura's striking is fairly functional, largely centered around leg kicks and big looping hooks. Tybura is an excellent wrestler. He has a strong jaw and can clinch any opponent. His wrestling skills are heavily influenced BJJ (and freestyle) techniques.
